To make a price request
So that we can effectively respond to your request, please provide the following information:
- The product reference (if known)
- The collection
- The format
- The finish (or the RAL shade)
- The equipment
- The options (e.g. number and colour of lights) and features, (e.g. type of engraving)
- The type of partition
- The quantity
For a special manufacturing request, a custom-made product or a mechanism cover:
- Attach a diagram
- Entrust us with the mechanism to carry out a full study.
To place an order
You can place an order over the telephone.
Send us your completed order form by email, fax or post. Or send your Meljac quotation signed and dated, (with the company stamp and marked ″agreed″.)
Please note:
- Your order will be processed within 24 hours
- For any modifications to your order, you need to contact us within 48 hours.
Samples - Loans
Can’t decide between two finishes? Contact our sales desk and ask for some samples.
You can also borrow a product, (if available) by leaving a deposit cheque, (including VAT) which will only be cashed in the case of damage or non-return of the equipment by the agreed date.
Lead time
Meljac products are made to order.
Possibility of stock / contact us.
As an indication, the lead time is 3 to 5 weeks for standard products depending on quantities and finishes.
Any special requests are estimated on a case by case basis.
Collection - Delivery
You can collect your order from one of our showrooms, in which case you will be notified by our sales team when the product is available.
If you choose to have your order delivered, your order will be shipped directly from our production site.
A fee of €11.00 ex.VAT is applicable to orders below the minimum value, (€760.00 net ex.VAT).
For international delivery, shipping costs are your responsibility except for zone 1 countries where a charge of €50 is applicable to orders below the minimum value, (€2000.00 ex.VAT invoiced).
You can request an express delivery where shipping charges will be your responsibility.
Case installations are usually done in advance. They will be shipped within days of your order, or made available to collect from our showroom.
Pricing and VAT
Our public prices are shown excluding VAT, (ex.VAT).
Our documents, (quotations, orders, invoices) all show ex.VAT and inc.VAT prices.
20% VAT is applicable, (except in special cases).
Guarantee– After sales service
Products and boxes are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, except in the following cases:
- If your product is delivered damaged and you have an advice note from the delivery company.
- If your product has a malfunction, despite following all the instructions for use.
- If your product has a defect in the finish reported to Meljac within 7 days of receipt.
In all other cases, contact customer service.
If the equipment received does not match your order, please contact your sales advisor for return and exchange terms and conditions.
In accordance with the law, you can return your order within 7 days, the return costs are your own responsibility.
However, in the case of an error on our part or if your products are damaged, these costs will be covered by Meljac.
Maintenance advice
All Meljac products are designed to be installed indoors.
Surfaces should be cared for with the use of a soft cloth and without any cleaning product.
