Hinged covers are particularly popular for kitchens and bathrooms, where sockets tend to be at eye level, as they avoid the contrast between the finish of the brass plate and the interior of the socket or other mechanism.
For perfect coordination with switches, thermostats, alarm keypads, door frames and tap fittings, the Meljac colour chart offers a choice of thirty brass finishes.
Sockets installed on yachts can be fitted with magnets so that the cover remains closed.
Meljac’s “Sol” collection offers waterproof covers (IP44).
The dimensions of the covers are tailored to the format of the product (rectangular, square, round, etc.).
