MELJAC champions youth training
Every year, MELJAC offers dual-education training to students in secondary education. Training and talent spotting also sometimes occur even earlier in the process during pre-baccalaureate work placements.
According to the French Ministry of Labour, Employment and Economic Inclusion, the number of apprentices is rising year after year (up 14% in 2022 compared to 2021*). This reflects a genuine appetite among young people to experience working environments, particularly those in which know-how is still valued.

A pathway to employment
Faced with recruitment difficulties since 2018, MELJAC has fostered partnerships with schools and education institutions to promote internal dual-education training. Nine apprentices have already been hired on permanent contracts through this system and are still in post. At the start of the 2023 academic year, the company hosted another 6 students, preparing the ground for its future. The company now has 11 apprentices on its books and has provided 13 young people with training since the start of the year in production, the design office and the sales department.
